July 2011 - from New Paltz, New York:

Janet and I both felt very much at home with you and Lynda. Dear friends who we hope to see again in the near future. The only negatives are that Jan came home looking to upgrade our house (already quite attractive) to be as nice as yours. Also that we will no doubt have to diet after eating the marvelous and generous gourmet breakfasts that you provided. OK, I’ll admit it we ate too much at some of the local restaurants as well.

After we left you, we parked at the end of the road as you suggested and walked into town. Thoroughly enjoyed the trail, walking in the woods, views of the river, lake and sailboats. We also stopped at Fort George along the way. Didn’t take the tour but were met at the gate by two intriguing people who were happy to tell us all about it. A man and his wife interrupted their bike ride in order to offer to take pictures of us. Next time we will make sure that we have time to ride bikes ourselves.
